Hello! I’m Becs and I’m so glad you’re here.

Most folks begin therapy with me because they feel stuck in unhelpful patterns of communicating, they struggle to feel understood or supported in their relationship, and they want to navigate conflict and challenging emotions with greater ease. I support queer, gender expansive, neurodiverse, and polyamorous and non-monogamous couples, polycules and other relationship structures. I also specialize in working with stepparents and stepcouples who are navigating a stepfamily or “blended” family.

I use a therapeutic framework in our sessions that creates emotional safety, fosters curiosity, encourages self-discovery, and deepens intimacy and understanding of one another. I am a Level 1 Developmental Model therapist (I received specialized training in supporting queer relationships with this model) and am currently completing the advanced level training for the Developmental Model with the Couples Institute. I am also an AANE-certified Neurodiverse Couples Therapist. I have also received training in the Gottman Method, EFT, and IFS/IFIO, and I use elements of these approaches in my work with clients.

Beyond my clinical training and experience, I will also bring my lived experience as a non-monogamous, queer, neurodivergent, non-binary stepparent and human into our work together. I really enjoy working with intimate partners and providing guidance to them as they navigate towards the change they want to see in their relationship and in themselves. I find clients who benefit the most from my work are folks who are ready to confront themselves and be the agent of change in their relationship.
